From SNL to Stardom: Adam Sandler's Evolution
Though Adam Sandler only graced the stage of "Saturday Night Live" for four seasons, his impact on the beloved comedy sketch show remains undeniable. Since leaving the show, Adam has carved out an extraordinary career in movies, becoming a household name with a string of hilarious and heartwarming films. But how has this comedy legend changed over the years? After scooping the Best Male Lead award at the 35th Film Independent Spirit Awards, the 53-year-old opened up about his transformation since his SNL days.
With his signature charm, Adam joked, "Oh man... I guess I've gained a few pounds! Back in the day, I used to rock a 32-inch waist. Now, well, let's just say I've expanded a bit." Despite the weight gain, he insists he's still fundamentally the same guy who made audiences laugh on "Saturday Night Live." But there's more to his evolution than just physical changes.
Family Life: The Cornerstone of Adam's Happiness
One of the most significant differences in Adam's life now is his family. Gone are the days when he was fully immersed in the SNL world. Now, Adam is a proud family man, married to Jackie Sandler since 2003, and they have two beautiful daughters, Sadie, 13, and Sunny, 11. This family life has brought a new dimension to his world. "You know, I used to live and breathe SNL," Adam reflected. "But now, I have this incredible family that keeps me grounded and happy. It's a well-rounded life now, and I couldn't be more grateful."

The Secret to a Happy Marriage
Adam credits his long-lasting marriage to simple yet profound principles. "It's all about spending time together," he shared with Closer Weekly and other reporters at the "Uncut Gems" premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9. "You can't let life pull you in too many directions. Staying truthful and genuine with each other is key. It's the little things that keep a relationship strong." After 16 years of marriage, it's clear Adam knows what he's talking about.
