Big news coming out of the McCain household! Co-host of The View, Meghan McCain, is expecting her first child with husband Ben Domenech. The 35-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday, March 22, to share the heartwarming news with her followers in a heartfelt statement.
“My husband Ben and I are thrilled to announce that I’m pregnant,” Meghan revealed in her post. “While this isn’t exactly how I imagined sharing the news, both Ben and I, along with our families, couldn’t be more excited to share this special moment with all of you.”
But it’s not just about the joy of expecting a new addition to their family. Meghan also shared some important details about her plans moving forward. “After consulting with my doctors, they advised me to take extra precautions for the health and safety of both myself and our baby. That means limiting the number of people we come into contact with. Starting right away, I’ll be joining the millions of Americans who are self-isolating to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a result, I will continue to appear on The View from home via satellite,” she explained.

“I’m incredibly fortunate that my employer, ABC, has allowed me and my co-hosts to work remotely. I can’t thank our producers and crew enough for their hard work in making this transition seamless. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the true heroes of this crisis—our doctors, nurses, grocery and pharmacy workers, journalists, police officers, firefighters, and military personnel—who are risking their lives every day to keep us safe,” she said.
“Please, everyone, stay safe. Wash your hands, practice social distancing, and avoid public gatherings. I’ll continue to see you all each morning on The View as we navigate these uncertain times together,” Meghan urged her audience.

“To the end of my days, I will remember this child,” she wrote at the time. “My miscarriage was one of the most harrowing experiences I’ve ever faced, and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. But through it all, I loved my baby, and I always will.”
