“When Benny came along, I thought he would be just like Jack,” Tom revealed to Men’s Health back in August 2019. “So I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.’ And he was like, ‘Nope.’ And I was like, ‘What? No, do this!’” It’s clear that Tom had certain expectations about his son’s interests, but life doesn’t always go according to plan.
Thankfully, Tom’s wife, Gisele, stepped in to remind him that it’s perfectly okay for Ben to have different interests. “Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you effing understand that your son is different?’ It was hard for me,” Tom confessed. “I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a boy; he should just do all these things that I do.’”

When we do that, we have the best time.
