In an episode of The Talk@Home on April 6, Jennifer opened up about her initial struggles. “I was really frustrated at first, honestly, just trying to figure out how to do it,” she confessed. “I couldn’t decide if I had to teach them the way their teacher was teaching them or if I should do it in a strict way or whatever.”
After some trial and error, Jennifer leaned on a trusted friend for advice. Her friend encouraged her to approach homeschooling her own way. “She told me, ‘Look, this is your opportunity to teach your kids the way you want. Nobody’s doing things the way they normally would right now,’” Jennifer explained. “The main goal is for them to laugh, have fun, and learn along the way. So, we’ve really made it our own thing.”

When Jennifer started homeschooling her kids in her unique style, she received some heartwarming feedback from her daughter, Autumn. “My daughter said to me yesterday, ‘Hey mom, do you think you could maybe come and be a teacher at my school when this is over?’” Jennifer beamed. “It meant so much to me.” This little compliment speaks volumes about how much her kids enjoy her teaching methods and the love she pours into their education.
