When it comes to the supernatural, Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary rocker and protective father, is not exactly ready to jump on the ghost train, but he’s definitely intrigued. During a recent conversation on the July 30 episode of The Talk, Ozzy opened up about his skepticism surrounding the paranormal. But when his son Jack Osbourne, who’s diving headfirst into the supernatural world with his new show The Osbournes Want to Believe, showed him some footage of what could only be described as ghostly activity, Ozzy admitted he was left speechless.
Jack Osbourne's New Show Sparks Family Conversations
At 71 years old, Ozzy Osbourne has seen and experienced a lot, but when it comes to believing in ghosts, he’s taken a "wait and see" approach. "I’ve always kind of taken it with a grain of salt," Ozzy shared, adding that he’s never actually seen a ghost. But after viewing the eerie video Jack, 34, shared with him, the "War Pigs" musician said he "couldn’t believe it." When asked by Carrie Ann Inaba if he’s now a believer, Ozzy replied with his signature wit, “Skeptical, but leaning towards it.”
Ghosts and Skepticism in the Osbourne Household
But it’s not just Ozzy who’s skeptical about the paranormal. His wife, the ever-practical Sharon Osbourne, doesn’t exactly believe in ghosts either. However, Sharon has had her own brushes with the other side. She recounted two out-of-body experiences that left her shaken. The first happened when she was a child battling pneumonia and a serious lung disease. She described floating above her body, watching the doctors work to save her. The second experience occurred years later in a hospital during a blood transfusion. Sharon vividly remembers the doctor pleading with her to come back, which she humorously turned into a request for an ice cream the following day.

Jack, along with Sharon’s cohosts, was genuinely surprised by her stories. Ozzy chimed in, sharing his own out-of-body experiences, though he admitted they were likely fueled by less-than-sober circumstances. "I had a lot more than two, but it was chemically induced," the "Paranoid" singer joked, sparking laughter from everyone.
