Hey there, lovebirds! It's time to celebrate because Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are marking an incredible milestone—10 years of marriage! The country music queen took to Instagram to share her heartfelt tribute to the love of her life, reminiscing about their journey from awkward teens to the incredible family they’ve built together.
A Decade of Love and Laughter
“Hey you, two crazy kids,” Carrie, now 37, wrote on Friday, July 10, as she reflected on their decade-long journey. “Believe it or not, someday you both will become (slightly) less awkward. You'll grow up to have pretty cool jobs. You'll meet backstage at some girl's concert, fall in love, get married, have two amazing boys, and live happily ever after!”

Alongside two adorable throwback photos of herself and Mike as kids, Carrie marveled at their journey together. “These past 10 years have been pretty incredible with you, @mfisher1212!” she wrote. “Here’s to many, many more … without the bowl cuts! I love you and I thank the good Lord that He brought those two kids together! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!”

Family Life with Two Amazing Boys
Carrie and Mike, now 40, have built an incredible family together. They welcomed their first child, Isaiah, in February 2015, followed by Jacob in January 2019. Parenthood hasn’t always been easy, though. After Isaiah’s birth, Carrie suffered three miscarriages, making their journey to parenthood all the more challenging.
During an episode of their web series, Mike and Carrie: God & Country, Carrie opened up about the heartbreak of those losses. “I had an honest conversation with God, and I told him how I felt,” she shared. “I was a little angry, and of course, you feel guilty for being mad at your creator. I told him we needed something. We needed to have a baby or not, ever, because I couldn’t keep going down that road anymore.”

Mike was there every step of the way, providing support and clarity during those tough times. “I heard, not audibly, but I sensed that God told me that we were going to have a son, and his name’s Jacob,” he recalled. Their successful journey with Jacob has only strengthened their bond as a family.
Family Life Brings Joy and Fulfillment
For Carrie and Mike, being parents is the ultimate fulfillment. “Mike loves having two little boys to run around outdoors and to teach sports. And motherhood has fulfilled Carrie and keeps her feeling grounded,” an insider shared. “The boys are their world, and they always say how happy they are as a family of four.”
We couldn’t be happier for Carrie and Mike as they celebrate their 10th anniversary. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and family!
