The Fuller House star recently opened up to Closer Weekly about the secrets behind her enduring relationship with husband Valeri Bure, revealing that great sex is a key ingredient in their 24-year love story.

In her candid chat with the magazine, Candace, now 44, jokes, "Hey, it's been 24 years, so if you're still having good sex, that's a big plus!" But it’s not just about the physical connection. The actress emphasizes the importance of staying curious about your partner. "Keep learning things about your spouse," she advises, highlighting the need for ongoing discovery and growth in a long-term relationship.

Staying Connected After Two Decades

For Candace, maintaining that spark after over two decades of marriage means constantly seeking new ways to bond with her husband. "It's so easy to fall into patterns," she admits, explaining that she's always looking for fresh ways to reconnect. "I also think you should keep dating your spouse," she adds. "It can get monotonous at home, and life gets busy. You’ve got to intentionally carve out time for each other."

This year has been especially challenging with the ongoing pandemic, but Candace and Valeri, a former Russian ice hockey star, have adapted by creating romantic moments at home. "We always have dinner or something once a week by ourselves," she shares with Closer. "Or we’ll go for a walk and just talk. It's those little things that matter. You can't let life get so hectic that you forget to spend quality time with your spouse."

Family Life and Parenting

While Candace and Valeri prioritize their relationship, they’re also busy juggling their roles as parents to their three children: Natasha, 22, Lev, 20, and Maksim, 18.
