It’s really fun.” And if that wasn’t enough, she’s also been focusing on herself, losing 50 pounds on Nutrisystem and feeling better than ever at 62. For Marie, being in great shape means she can keep up with her grandkids and be the best grandma possible.
Even after decades in the entertainment industry and raising her own family, Marie continues to grow and learn. “I was always the financial support of the family, and with the last child leaving and everything… every decade, you reevaluate yourself, especially as a woman,” she reflects. “What is it that I need to learn through this decade? What can I do to become a better person or grow? One of the things I’ve said recently is I’m not afraid to close the door. Sometimes we’re afraid to move on from something that may be good in a job but not good for our environment and physical happiness.”
