Fixer to Fabulous stars Dave and Jenny Marrs are beaming with pride over their five children, each of whom brings something special to the table. In an exclusive chat with Closer, the couple shared how their kids are developing their own unique talents, making every day an adventure for this close-knit family.
Charlotte’s Love for Design: Following in Her Parents’ Footsteps
If you’ve ever watched Fixer to Fabulous, it’s no secret that Dave and Jenny have a knack for transforming spaces into dream homes. Well, their youngest daughter, Charlotte, seems to be inheriting that same passion. Jenny revealed how Charlotte loves being involved in the design process, especially when it comes to decorating miniature versions of their renovations.
"When we were working on the Welcome Inn last year, Dave built a dollhouse that mirrored the inn, and Charlotte absolutely loved setting it up," Jenny said. "She spent hours meticulously arranging every piece of furniture, ensuring everything was just right. It’s clear she has a real eye for detail, just like her mom. She even loves helping me pick out colors—especially pink ones!"

A Family of Unique Talents
The Marrs family isn’t just about design—each child brings something extraordinary to the table. With five kids ranging in age from 2 to 11, the couple has their hands full but wouldn’t have it any other way. “Sylvie, our older daughter, is a natural in the kitchen,” Dave shared. “She loves baking and decorating desserts. She’s practically a professional at it! She’s always watching those baking shows and trying out new recipes. It’s incredible to see her passion grow.”
As for the twins, Nathan and Ben, they couldn’t be more different. “Ben is our artist,” Dave explained. “He’s always sketching or painting. He has such a creative mind. On the other hand, Nathan is all about building things. He loves getting his hands dirty and working alongside me in the shop. They balance each other out perfectly.”
Youngest Son Luke: The Energizer Bunny of the Family
And then there’s Luke, the youngest and full of energy. “Luke is like a little tornado running around the house,” Jenny joked. “He keeps us on our toes, that’s for sure. But even at two years old, he’s already showing signs of being involved in the family business. Whether it’s playing with tools or just being around the job site, he’s soaking it all in.”
The couple makes sure their kids feel comfortable participating in the show when they want to. “Production and HGTV are fantastic about letting the kids be part of the process on their own terms,” Dave said. “It’s important to us that they’re not forced into anything. Right now, the younger ones are more excited to be on camera, while the twins are happy to stay behind the scenes.”
Life Beyond the Screen
Before they became household names on HGTV, Dave and Jenny were already busy renovating homes in their hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas. Their show premiered in October 2019, and since then, they’ve become two of the network’s most beloved stars. Despite their growing fame, the couple strives to keep things normal for their kids.
“For us, it’s just another day at work,” Jenny said. “The kids are used to seeing us at job sites. It’s what they’ve known their whole lives. So, for them, it’s not some glamorous Hollywood lifestyle. It’s just mom and dad doing what they do best.”
