Home Town star Ben Napier is melting hearts yet again with a sweet moment captured with his family. The talented craftsman recently took to Instagram to share adorable photos of his wife, Erin Napier, reading to their daughters, Helen and Mae. The post, shared on Monday, August 15, gives fans a glimpse into the Napier family's wholesome, everyday life.
Ben captioned the heartwarming post with a playful nod to the book they were enjoying: "Chicka chicka boom boom, will there be enough room in @erinapier’s lap. #favoriteparent #myfavoritetoo." It's moments like these that remind us of the simple joys of family life.

A Peek Into Family Life
In the photos, Helen and Mae are seen snuggled up with their mom as she reads them the classic children's book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. The pictures not only showcase the cozy bond between mother and daughters but also offer a charming glimpse into the beautifully decorated playroom where these precious moments take place. Both Helen and Mae share the same blonde locks as their mom, adding to the sweet family resemblance.

Just days before these photos were posted, Ben shared another emotional moment as he took Helen to her first day of school. In a heartfelt caption, he wrote, "Helen requested bacon, bagels and croissants for the first day of school. So, I got her bagels and croissants from NYC and bacon from Keens. Then I cried more than anyone taking her to school." It's clear that Ben cherishes every milestone in his daughters' lives, no matter how bittersweet.

Reading Routines and Family Traditions
For the Napier family, reading has become a cherished nightly tradition. Erin, a former graphic designer turned author, often takes the lead in this heartwarming routine. Her husband, Ben, frequently captures these tender moments, sharing them with their fans on social media. In one such post from March 2019, Ben wrote, "The mornings are mine, but bedtime belongs to mama," alongside a candid snap of Erin reading to Helen before bed. With the arrival of their second daughter, Mae, in May 2021, the family has only grown closer, embracing their roles as a tight-knit unit of four.
Helen, the couple's eldest child, welcomed in 2018, is full of personality and charm. Alongside her love for dancing, riding bikes, and spending time with her little sister, Helen has developed a passion for reading. In fact, she had a particularly amusing reaction to Erin's 2022 children's book, The Lantern House. As Erin revealed to Today in May 2022, "She’s basically memorized it. We read it so much when I first was writing the proof that now that the actual book is here, she has memorized the story and is not as interested in reading it which just kills me. It’s like, 'No, baby, this is a real book. Before, that was just typed pages with words, but look at this!'"
Two Kids: The Perfect Number?
When asked about family size, Erin told Us Weekly in March 2022, "I always thought [I’d have] two. When I saw [myself] as a mom, I always saw two kids. I can’t see beyond that, so that feels like a sign that two is the right number." It's clear that the Napiers are content with their family of four, cherishing each moment they spend together.
