Country music legend Trace Adkins is not just a chart-topping artist but also a proud father of five daughters. His life has been filled with highs and lows, but through it all, his girls have remained his anchor. Trace's daughters—Tarah, Sarah, Mackenzie, Briana, and Trinity—are now all grown up, and he couldn’t be prouder of them. Whether it’s between sold-out concerts or moments at home, Trace has always made sure to stay connected with his family. And let’s not forget, he’s now happily married to actress Victoria Pratt, who supports him in every step of this journey.
But life wasn’t always so smooth for Trace. Early in his career, battling alcohol addiction took a toll on his personal life, particularly his role as a father. After the birth of his first two daughters, Tarah and Sarah, with his first wife, Barbara Lewis, Trace admitted that he wasn’t as present as he should have been. “I feel so guilty about that, and they know that,” Trace confessed in a heartfelt 2007 interview with Country Weekly. “I tell them ‘no’ very seldom because I feel like I owe them everything.”
Trace went on to explain that his younger years were a blur of self-discovery. “It wasn’t just about the drinking; it was also about being young and clueless. I didn’t even know who I was yet. I was just feeling my way through life, trying to figure out who I was and what I wanted to do.” But Trace’s journey has come a long way since then, and today, he’s a devoted father to five wonderful daughters, each with their own unique personalities and stories.

The multi-platinum recording artist first burst onto the country music scene in 1996, and over the years, he’s sold over 11 million albums. Trace has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and even Snoop Dogg. His career has been nothing short of extraordinary, but Trace isn’t stopping anytime soon. With the love and support of his family, he dreams of continuing his legacy for many years to come. “I’m looking forward to being 80 years old and walking out on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry,” Trace shared with Music Row in an August 2021 interview. “I’ll go out there, dance to ‘Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,’ and embarrass my grandchildren.”
Beyond his music, Trace is known for his raspy voice and electrifying performances. But when he’s not on stage, he’s got another mission—teaching his grandchildren an important lesson. “To be quiet,” he joked in a 2017 interview with Taste of Country. “I try to teach them to be quiet, which obviously nobody else is trying to do.”
Let’s take a closer look at Trace’s five daughters and the amazing lives they’ve built for themselves.
Tarah Adkins Webber
Tarah Adkins Webber, Trace’s eldest daughter with his first wife, Barbara Lewis, was born in 1983. Tarah is a proud mother of three children with her husband, David Webber, whom she married in 2007. She shares a close bond with her younger sister, Sarah, and is always cheering on her dad’s career. Whether it’s sharing photos of Trace on Facebook or attending his concerts, Tarah is a dedicated supporter of her father’s work. When asked if he spoils his grandkids, Trace laughed and said, “Not too much, not too much. They get whatever they want, I guess, but I don’t go over the top. Really, they’re spoiled anyway, so there’s not much left to do.”
Sarah Beth Adkins
Sarah Beth Adkins, born in 1985, is Trace’s youngest daughter with Barbara Lewis. Sarah is a proud mom who often shares sweet moments from her family life on social media. In September 2021, Sarah revealed that she had lent her voice to her dad’s song, “So Do The Neighbors.” That same month, she surprised her dad by visiting him at a concert he performed with Blake Shelton. She later joked about how her dad forgot it was her birthday, which led to a funny exchange with Blake. “I told Blake it would’ve been nice if he sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me tonight,” Sarah shared. “He said, ‘Trace, you didn’t know it was your daughter’s birthday,’ to which daddy said, ‘Yeah, her birthday is Monday. But I didn’t know how old she is going to be.’” Sarah added with a laugh, “I’m just one of five… it’s just a number these days, Daddy.”
