But honestly, it was always about business. Whether we were getting ready in the morning or trying to have those intimate conversations, it always came back to work. It was a situation where our personal and professional lives were completely intertwined.”
Reba went on to describe how this constant focus on work affected their relationship. “Even when we were on vacation, trying to recharge, it would only take a few days before the conversation turned to, ‘You know what we could do?’ It was hard to escape the business side of things, and I think that’s why it didn’t work out for us in the end.”
