Describing Bob as "one of the most wickedly funny humans that has ever walked this earth," Kelly went on to share her personal experience of being married to him. "He was just such a constant, big, warm hug," she said, her voice filled with fondness. "You know, I’ll forever miss that. But it’s etched in my memory so deeply that I feel like it’s always with me." It’s clear that for Kelly, Bob wasn’t just a partner; he was a source of joy and comfort in every way imaginable.

Supportive Partner and Devoted Father

Kelly, now 45, highlighted another side of Bob that many might not know: his incredible ability to support and care for those around him. Beyond his illustrious career in Hollywood, Bob was a proud father to his three daughters—Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer, whom he had with his ex-wife Sherri Kramer. "He was the most incredible support and the most incredible caretaker," Kelly revealed, painting a vivid picture of the man behind the comedic persona.

This emotional depth fueled Bob’s passion for supporting the Scleroderma Research Foundation, a cause close to his heart after losing his sister to the disease in the 1990s.

Kelly shared an inspiring story about how Bob personally helped others affected by scleroderma. "If somebody called him and said, 'My cousin or my aunt or my sister has scleroderma,' he would personally hook them up with a doctor," she recounted. "He made sure they got the treatment they deserved and needed because his sister didn’t have that when she died. That’s just who he was—he always wanted to help, whether it was in his professional life, his work with the organization, or even in his personal life."

Navigating Life After Loss

Kelly also opened up about her journey of moving forward after Bob’s death. While it hasn’t been easy, she admitted that dating again was "hard to navigate." But with the blessings of Bob’s daughters and family, Kelly felt ready to embrace new love. "It was really important to me to get that blessing from everyone," she said, emphasizing her respect for her late husband’s legacy.

"We joke all the time that Breckin is the one person on earth that Bob would actually be okay with," she shared with a smile.
