Meanwhile, Eddie faces a moral dilemma when she discovers her former partner turned social worker, Rachel Witten (Lauren Patten), crossed ethical boundaries to help a mentally ill client. And Frank is left fuming when an award Danny was set to receive is revoked by none other than Grace Edwards (Lori Loughlin), the widow of an NYPD officer killed in the line of duty.”
In the preview, Grace makes it clear that Danny’s reputation as a "loose cannon" is not sitting well with her. Frank Reagan tries to defend Danny, saying, "My son is a decorated cop and a fine family man." Grace retorts, "He’s also from New York’s most visible cop family and enjoys a reputation as a very loose cannon."
