Heather Locklear's Weekend Outing With Mom
Heather Locklear, the beloved star of "Melrose Place" and "Falcon Crest," enjoyed a heartfelt mother-daughter day with her mom, Diane, over the weekend. The 63-year-old actress was spotted running errands in the San Fernando Valley area, looking effortlessly stylish in a casual ensemble. Photos captured by Closer Weekly show Heather embracing a laid-back look, complete with gray leggings, a white off-the-shoulder top with long sleeves, and a black-and-white baseball cap. She accessorized with layered necklaces and white sneakers, making her outing both chic and comfortable.
Stopping at CVS with Mom and Helper
Heather and her mother were seen stopping at a CVS parking lot, where they were joined by a helper. The actress was photographed walking across the parking lot, heading inside the store to grab a prescription. She exited the store holding a brown paper bag, likely containing the medication or items they needed for the day. Meanwhile, Diane, sitting in her wheelchair, was dressed in an all-black outfit with white sneakers, holding a banana as she patiently waited for her daughter.

Heather's Life After the Loss of Her Father
This mother-daughter outing comes just a few months after the passing of Heather's father, Bill Locklear. In a heartfelt Instagram post on June 12, Heather shared the news of her father's passing, describing him as "the most brilliant man I have ever known." She expressed her love and admiration for him, noting that the bar he set was incredibly high. Her caption read, "The love of my life. The few the proud. I love you dad. RIP." Bill had been battling health issues for a while and was hospitalized before his death, making it a challenging time for the family.

Heather's Close-Knit Family Ties
Heather has always been very close with her family, often celebrating special moments with them. Last year, she took to Instagram to celebrate her mother's 90th birthday, writing, "Happy Birthday my amazing mom. You know 90 is the new 40!!! So much love." It's clear that family plays a crucial role in Heather's life, providing her with the support and love she needs to navigate through life's challenges.
A Journey of Sobriety and Renewal
Heather, a Golden Globe nominee, has been on a journey of sobriety and renewal. According to a source, she's in a much better place now than she was a few months ago when she was going through some tough times. "She has her good days and her bad days, but she’s OK right now," the source told In Touch in February. Heather's relationship with her partner, Chris Heisser, is stable and contributes to her happiness. "She’s less interested in getting dolled-up and more focused on being healthy and staying on track," the insider added.
Support from Daughter Ava
Through everything, Heather's daughter, Ava, with ex-husband Richie Sambora, has been her rock. "Heather’s been through some pretty dark times and of course it’s all been in the public eye which has made it that much tougher," an insider told In Touch in July. "But she’s worked incredibly hard to get back on track, it’s not been easy by any means, but she works at it every single day and has a great circle of people surrounding her and helping her." Ava has been her biggest cheerleader, never giving up hope and remaining devoted to her mother. Heather celebrated Ava's engagement to Tyler Farrar in February, sharing photos of the proposal on Instagram with the caption, "Second best day of my life. First was the day she was born. Sweetest couple ever. Congratulations!"
