In another Instagram Story, Lindsay shared that she was on a flight back from Los Angeles and couldn’t watch the live broadcast of the Today show. However, she was flooded with emotions as the news unfolded. “So, I have friends and even Craig’s assistant sending me videos,” she revealed. “I’m crying because I’m just so proud of Melvin and happy for him. This is such a huge moment for him, and I can’t wait to celebrate properly when I’m home.”
Lindsay said it was “so awesome” to see the behind-the-scenes moments in the videos she received. In one clip, Craig is seen greeting people outside on the Today plaza, shaking hands, and hugging everyone.
