Though he admitted he didn’t catch the exact words Aniston used on stage, his respect for her talent speaks volumes.

“That’s very flattering! Very flattering. And she’s great,” Howard said, his tone filled with genuine admiration. The director, who’s carved a storied career in Hollywood, praised Aniston's unique ability to seamlessly transition between comedy and drama. He went on to describe her as someone who’s always honest in her performances, never leaving the audience feeling like they’re watching a "performer" but rather a deeply connected actor.

Ron Howard elaborated on Aniston’s impressive versatility, pointing out that very few actors can navigate comedy and drama with such finesse. He remarked, “She’s both very funny with impeccable timing but she’s always very honest. You don’t feel like she’s a performer, ever. She’s, you know, a really strong actor.” Howard also tipped his hat to Aniston’s directing chops, noting that while she hasn’t directed much, her work on a short film in a program his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard participated in was truly commendable.
