“Listen, folks, you’re going to fight. You’re going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages—they’re not sprints, they’re marathons,” Kelly explained. “There’s going to be a point, maybe around mile 24, where you’re going to think, ‘I quit.’ But here’s the thing—you just gotta push through. You’ve got to dig deep and keep moving forward. Because at the end of the day, the love and commitment you share is worth it.”

Kelly, now 49, knows marriage isn’t easy. But she believes the key to making it work is keeping calm and having unwavering trust in your partner. “There’s really nothing that’s that insurmountable, unless we’re talking about abuse or something serious like that,” she said. “You’re going to fight. You’re going to have disagreements. You’re going to find yourself fundamentally disagreeing on things. But if you take a deep breath, chances are, you won’t even remember what you were fighting about.”
Building a Life Together
Over the years, Kelly and Mark, 48, have built a beautiful life together. They’ve raised three amazing kids—Michael Consuelos, 22, Lola Consuelos, 18, and Joaquin Consuelos, 16—and when Kelly turned 49, Mark took to Instagram to give his wife a heartfelt shout-out. “Happy birthday to my favorite person,” he joked. “I’m really glad you were born because, let’s face it, if you weren’t, I would’ve been married three or four times by now. Which would’ve been really expensive, not to mention all the awkward parent-teacher conferences and blended family vacations. Anyway, happy birthday, sweetie.” So cute, right?
