There’s nothing quite like the PDA of celebrity power couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. But while their flirty exchanges might make fans swoon, their 18-year-old daughter, Lola Consuelos, isn’t exactly a fan. Recently, Lola chimed in on her parents' playful banter after Kelly, now 49, shared a hilarious video of herself lifting up her 2020 Oscars gown to reveal producer Albert Bianchini hiding underneath.
Mark, 48, couldn’t resist adding a cheeky comment to the post: “Been there…” But this time, their daughter wasn’t amused. “Absolutely repulsive,” Lola wrote back, clearly unimpressed by her parents’ antics.
For those who don’t know, Kelly captioned the video with the simple yet mysterious phrase, “Oil change.” The stunning gown she wore to the 92nd Academy Awards was a custom-made ball gown by none other than Christian Siriano from Project Runway. While Lola didn’t attend the Hollywood event with her parents, Kelly made sure to document the night on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself and Mark on the red carpet and another of her handsome husband at the Vanity Fair after-party.

Surprisingly, Lola didn’t seem to mind those classy snaps. However, the young college student did take issue when her mom “shut down” her debit card after she went a little overboard with Postmates orders.
“I didn’t even know our daughter had Postmates,” Kelly admitted during an episode of her talk show. “She’s at college, so we signed her up for a meal plan because, you know, we’re not monsters. We thought we’d cover the basics.”
But as it turns out, Lola wasn’t exactly thrilled with the meal plan. “She doesn’t really like the food options at school, so she started ordering through Postmates,” Kelly explained. “Here’s the kicker: She’d order a $7 salad, but delivery fees would balloon the total to $25 just to bring it three blocks in New York City.”
That’s when Kelly decided to take action. “Oh, we shut down that debit card account she had,” she revealed, laughing. Parents everywhere, we see you!
Now, the big question remains: Will Kelly and Mark tone down their public displays of affection—just for Lola’s sake? Or will they continue to keep things spicy, much to their daughter’s dismay? Only time will tell.
