There’s no denying that Loni Love, the incredibly talented comedian, has had us in stitches for years. But when she’s not cracking jokes, she’s diving deep into her personal life, especially her relationship with James Welsh. In a candid conversation, Loni revealed that while she cherishes her relationship, marriage might not be on her horizon.

“We’re doing absolutely fantastic. We’re coming up on two incredible years together!” the vibrant 48-year-old exclusively shared with Closer Weekly while attending Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios Oscar Gala, an event benefiting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “Having a partner is truly a blessing. It’s someone you can lean on during both the highs and the lows of life, and with whom you can enjoy every moment.”
Despite the strong bond, Loni admits she’s unsure if James is “the one.” “I don’t know what ‘the one’ even looks like. All I know is that I love my life, I love having fun, and James is a big part of that,” she elaborates. “He’s my partner, my best friend, and even my designated driver! (Laughs).”

Why Marriage Might Not Be in the Cards for Loni
“To be honest, I’ve always been perfectly content being single,” Loni reveals, adding insight into her perspective on marriage. “I’ve always been an independent woman, and I’ve always thought that marriage is for women who want to have kids. But I don’t want kids. That said, you never know what the future holds!”
This isn’t the first time Loni has opened up about her relationship. She previously disclosed that she and James met through a dating app. “He’s such a wonderful guy. When he first messaged me, I noticed his kind eyes immediately,” Loni gushed to People during a past interview, elaborating on what she was looking for in a partner.
