While their kids are still growing up, Hilaria Baldwin and her husband, Alec Baldwin, are already preparing to support whatever career path their four children choose. The ever-inspiring yoga guru shared her thoughts exclusively with Closer Weekly at Guild Hall’s 35th Academy of the Arts Achievement Awards dinner on March 3. Hilaria opened up about her kids’ future aspirations and how she and Alec plan to guide them through life.
Teaching Discipline and Options
Hilaria, a radiant 36-year-old, shared her perspective when asked if her children might follow in Alec’s footsteps into acting. “At this point, they’re 1, 3, 4, and 6,” she said with a warm smile. “Right now, the most important thing is getting them educated and instilling a lot of discipline in their lives. We want to teach them that there are countless options out there. Whatever they become passionate about, they’ll have our full support.”

Big Personalities, Bright Futures
“Alec and I are full of personality, and our kids definitely inherited that,” said Hilaria, the proud mother of 6-year-old daughter Carmen and sons Raphael, 4, Leonardo, 3, and Romeo, who’s just 22 months old. These children of the beloved Saturday Night Live star are already showing off their vibrant personalities, leaving their parents to wonder where their interests will lead them.
When asked whether her kids might take up acting like their famous father, Hilaria joked, “I don’t know if it’s the acting bug or just being extremely charismatic. They’re full of energy, and it’s hard to tell right now. Maybe they’ll become doctors, lawyers, teachers… who knows? Whatever they want to do, we’re here for them!”
Carmen's Magical Touch
Perhaps little Carmen is already paving her way toward a magical future. Recently, Hilaria showcased her daughter’s impressive magic tricks on social media. In a delightful video uploaded in mid-February, Carmen can be seen teaching her younger brothers some wizardry. “Magic tricks around the fire,” Hilaria captioned the video. “Now you, young man, say, ‘Minnie Mouse,’” Carmen instructs in the clip. “What happens if you say ‘fireplace?’” Raphael replies, shouting, “Fireplace!” The charm and laughter in the video are undeniable.
Hilaria isn’t shy about sharing the happy moments of her life on social media, but she’s equally open about her personal struggles. After revealing her second miscarriage in November 2019, she explained her decision to be transparent with her fans. “Many people think being soft is being weak, but I’ve found true power in vulnerability,” she expressed on Instagram. “Opening up about my miscarriage earlier this year was nerve-wracking, but these hidden experiences in my life only feel scary when I can’t be open about them.”
