A fan recently reached out to her, sharing that they were feeling overwhelmed with the pressure of studying all day during the coronavirus pandemic. Eva, with her usual warmth and empathy, let them know she totally gets it.
“Aww, I get it,” the 46-year-old actress responded via Instagram on Monday, April 27. “Are you in school? What are you studying for? That’s awesome, and I’m rooting for you. Honestly, I feel like I’m cramming for midterms too. Only difference is, my tests are all about motherhood. I’m just hoping I pass. Sending you loads of luck and love.”
“Thank you, I really appreciate that,” the fan replied. “I’m not a mom, but I think you’re doing an incredible job!”

One of her daughters even drew a hilariously accurate picture capturing her mom’s quarantine experience. “This is me, according to my kid. It’s spot-on,” Eva joked about the drawing of a woman with vibrant blue hair. “No, I haven’t suddenly become a master baker or an amazing cook during quarantine. I haven’t seen a gym in months. I haven’t written a novella. I’ve just been trying to stay fun for my kids and keep my sanity intact.”
