Listen, we’ve all been there. Sharon Osbourne recently opened up about gaining a little weight during the pandemic, and she’s not stressing about it one bit. In fact, she’s embracing her new fitness journey with open arms. The always candid The Talk star shared her plans to get back in shape and how she’s making it a priority.
Sharon Opens Up About Her Pandemic Weight Gain
During a recent episode of The Talk, Sharon, who’s as real as they come, revealed that she’s gained about 10 pounds during the pandemic. And you know what? She’s not sweating it. "I’m like 10 pounds over from what I usually am," the 68-year-old said with a laugh. "And let me tell you, 10 pounds is a lot when you’re 5-foot-1 and a smidge." But instead of letting it get her down, she’s using it as motivation to make some positive changes in her life.

But here’s the thing: Sharon isn’t just talking the talk. She’s walking the walk. Literally. "I started walking yesterday," she said with excitement. "This is it now. I’ve got the bug. I’m on it." And if anyone can stick to a plan, it’s Sharon. She’s known for her determination and drive, and this time is no different.

Quarantine Life with Ozzy
Since the pandemic began, Sharon has been riding it out with her rockstar husband, Ozzy Osbourne, at their Los Angeles mansion. Now, you might think being cooped up with your spouse 24/7 could get a little intense, and let’s just say Sharon isn’t afraid to call it like she sees it. By May, she joked that the quality time was starting to wear thin. "[Is] quarantine quality time getting a little much for anyone else?" she hilariously wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of a man trying to bite a woman’s head off.
But hey, who can blame her? Being stuck at home with anyone, even someone as legendary as Ozzy, can get old. On the flip side, they’ve had some pretty sweet moments too. Movie nights in bed, quality time with their furry friends—it’s been a rollercoaster, but they’re handling it like pros.
Ozzy’s Health Journey
As for Ozzy, he’s been doing surprisingly well considering everything he’s been through. The "Crazy Train" singer has battled pneumonia, had surgery for an infection in his hand, and dealt with flu complications. Oh, and let’s not forget his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease. But through it all, he’s kept a positive outlook. "I’m good," he said during a virtual appearance on The Talk in June. "I’m getting there … slowly but surely."
