Let’s talk about Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos for a second. You know those couples you see and just think, "Wow, they really have it figured out"? Yeah, that’s Kelly and Mark. Amid the chaos of the coronavirus pandemic, these two spent an extraordinary amount of time together—like, six whole months in the same house. And guess what? It didn’t break them. In fact, it brought them closer. Kelly, the host of Live With Kelly and Ryan, told her cohost Ryan Seacrest that living with Mark, the star of Riverdale, during the pandemic was a "testament" to the strength of their marriage.

Now, picture this: You're 49 years old, you're a busy TV host, and suddenly, life as you know it comes to a screeching halt. That's exactly what happened to Kelly Ripa. "The pandemic hit, and we ended up spending an unprecedented amount of time together," she explained on September 8. "Six months in the same house—it was a real testament to how much we actually enjoy each other's company." That’s right, folks. Six months. If you’ve ever lived with someone for more than a week, you know how impressive that is. But for Kelly and Mark, it wasn’t about surviving quarantine; it was about thriving together.

But as the world slowly began to open up, Mark returned to Vancouver to resume filming Riverdale. For Kelly, this meant adjusting to life without her husband around. "We’ve been apart for nine days, and it already feels like 90 years," she joked on the show. "I’ll miss him. We can’t go back-and-forth between Vancouver and home, so it’s very sad." But in true Kelly style, she added a playful note for Mark: "So, it was a good marriage, honey, and I really enjoyed our time." Now that’s what I call relationship goals!

Quarantine Family Style: The Ripa-Consuelos Clan
Since March, Kelly and Mark—married since 1996—were quarantining with their three kids, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin, in the Caribbean. They were on what was supposed to be a relaxing island vacation when the pandemic hit. "Everything shut down. The government shut down. Our country shut down," Kelly told People in late May. "I hate to use the word stuck, but we were. So, we decided to stay where we were." And while the situation wasn’t ideal, Kelly managed to find the silver lining. "I’ve been most grateful that at least I have my adult children with me," she said. "It’s been a great benefit for us to have each other, even though everything feels so unsettled."
