Here’s the thing: Kathie Lee Gifford isn’t exactly hunting for a new love interest, but she’s not ruling it out either. In a candid conversation with Page Six on October 15, the former Today star shared some insight into her dating life—five years after the passing of her beloved husband, Frank Gifford, in 2015. Kathie Lee, now 67, is keeping her heart open, though she’s learned a thing or two about what works—and what doesn’t.
“Listen, I’ve been on a few dates—four different guys, to be exact—and they were all great. But they weren’t the one for me,” she said with a laugh. “I’ve gone out a handful of times over the last year, but I know deep down what it would take to sweep me off my feet. It’s not about quantity—it’s about quality.”

Family First: Celebrating Her Children’s Marriages
While Kathie Lee isn’t rushing into a new relationship, she’s got plenty to celebrate when it comes to her family. Her daughter, Cassidy, tied the knot with Ben Wierda in June 2020, and her son Cody followed suit, marrying Erika Brown just a few months later in September.
“I’m so proud of them both. They’ve found their partners, built their lives, and are thriving. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness,” she said, beaming with pride. “And as for me walking down the aisle again? Well, who knows? I’ve kept my wedding dress from 1986 just in case!”
