He joked about how much he could use "a large dose of grandkids, pool time, and popsicles right about now." Alongside this playful sentiment, he shared a throwback picture featuring him and his cherished grandchildren lounging in his backyard. The caption? "Kids, who wants to come push Bapa in the pool again? #TBT #HeatWave." It's a reminder of simpler days filled with laughter and joy.

A Blast from the Past: Donny's Family Adventures
This isn’t the first time Donny has reminisced about his grandkids’ antics. Way back in July 2019, he posted a similar photo of him with his grandchildren. Back then, he captioned the image with, “My grandkids just pushed me in the pool, so we celebrated by breaking out some #popsicles.” It’s clear that family moments mean the world to him, even more so during these challenging times.
Family News Keeps Rolling In
While quarantine has kept Donny apart from his family, there’s been plenty of exciting updates to keep him smiling. In June, he found out that his 29-year-old son, Chris, is about to welcome a baby girl. And just when you thought the joy couldn’t get any bigger, on August 9, Donny announced that his 41-year-old son, Don, and his wife, Jessi, are expecting their fourth child—a little boy!
“Debbie [Osmond] and I are so delighted to share that our 12th grandbaby is on his way!” Donny joyfully shared on Instagram. “Our son Don and daughter-in-law Jessi are expecting their [fourth] son. They will now have a cute quartet, and we can hardly wait to meet this precious little baby boy.” Talk about a growing family!
When Chris and Don’s kids arrive, they’ll have plenty of stories to hear about their grandad’s incredible career, like how he lent his voice to Captain Li Shang in Disney’s Mulan. Maybe one day, they’ll even join him for a fun rendition of “I’ll Make A Man Out of You” during the Disney Family Singalong. But no matter how many adventures they share, Donny will always treasure the little moments, like the day he discovered he was a clue on Jeopardy!.

“I’ll consider this my greatest accomplishment for this month of quarantine,” Donny gleefully shared in April after revealing the Jeopardy! question: “Tori Spelling’s unicorn and Donny Osmond’s peacock belted out tunes on this show — that line shouldn’t make any sense, but it’s true.”
“‘What is The Masked Singer?’” replied the “Any Dream Will Do” singer. To us, it sounds like Donny and his grandkids would absolutely love binge-watching this show once quarantine is over. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend some quality time with their grandpa, especially when he’s as legendary as Donny Osmond?
