There's nothing quite like watching the next generation of royals grow up before our very eyes. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their 2021 Christmas card, and let me tell you, it's a doozy. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are all beaming with joy in the photo, which was shared on their official social media accounts. Fans eagerly anticipate this annual tradition, and this year's card has not disappointed. Social media users couldn't help but notice how much the kids have grown since the last time we caught a glimpse of the family together.
What They Wore: A Stylish Family Affair
Prince William stepped away from his usual formal attire this time around, opting for a more relaxed look with khaki shorts and a brown polo shirt. Kate Middleton, as always, looked every bit the royal stunner in a chic olive green maxi dress. Their children were equally well-dressed. Charlotte, who continues to resemble her mother more and more, wore a charming blue plaid dress. George, taking after his dad, chose a camouflage shirt paired with khaki shorts. And little Louis? He was as adorable as ever in a blue striped shirt and khaki shorts. To keep things cohesive, all the children wore navy blue sneakers, adding a playful touch to the ensemble.

The caption accompanying the photo reads, "Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card." The family photo was captured earlier this year during a trip to Jordan, where Kate spent part of her childhood when her father, Michael Middleton, worked for British Airways. Last year's Christmas photo, in contrast, was taken at William and Kate's country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall. In that memorable shot, the family donned cozy knit sweaters as they sat on a haystack. Little Louis stole the show with his infectious grin.

A Royal Christmas Tradition
Each year, William and Kate join Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family at the Queen's Sandringham estate for Christmas celebrations. The festivities typically include a grand family breakfast, a trip to church, a hearty lunch, and the exchanging of gifts. However, due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the big celebration was canceled in 2020. It remains to be seen whether the royal family will resume their usual festivities this year. One thing is certain, though—George, Charlotte, and Louis are eagerly anticipating Christmas. In a 2019 appearance on A Berry Royal Christmas, William revealed what was on each of his children's wish lists. "Well, George has already written his list for Father Christmas," William shared. "He loves his drawing—he’s a very good drawer. We might give him something to do with drawing, or football. He’s loving his football as well!"
