Actress and fitness icon Brooke Burke is opening up about her exciting future with fiancé Scott Rigsby. In an exclusive interview with Closer, Brooke shares that while they haven’t set a date yet, the couple is diving into the details of what their big day will look like. They got engaged back in September 2021, after two years of dating, and it seems like they’re ready to make it official. But let’s be honest, planning a wedding is no small task, especially for a family as blended and beautiful as theirs.
Designing the Perfect Day
"We’re starting to talk out how, when, we know why. We’re just trying to design, you know, what it’s going to look like," Brooke revealed. She adds, "And I have... I can’t say I didn’t have a wedding. I had a ceremony the first few times, but I didn’t really have a wedding." What she’s saying is, this time around, she wants it to be special, meaningful, and a celebration that reflects their unique love story. It’s not just about the "I dos," it’s about creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Including the Whole Family
Of course, Brooke wants her four children—Neriah and Sierra from her first marriage to Garth Fisher, and Heaven and Shaya from her second marriage to David Charvet—to be a part of the celebration. Scott also has two children from a previous marriage, making their union a true blending of families. "Our kids are really into it and we’re trying to figure out… it’s hard for us to do. We can either really go all out or keep it intimate and sacred," Brooke explains. "I want it to be special, and I don’t think we’ll get to it this year just because things are still a bit unpredictable."

The Dream Honeymoon Destination
When it comes to their honeymoon, Brooke already has a destination in mind: Positano, Italy. After their engagement, the couple took a trip to Italy, a place that holds a special place in their hearts. "It’s one of my all-time favorite destinations on the planet," Brooke gushes. "I love the vertical city, the views, the Amalfi coast, just the romance, and most importantly, the love." Positano seems like the perfect spot for this couple to start their new chapter together.
Turning 50 on September 8, 2021, Brooke has been keeping busy with her new fitness program alongside Christine Bullock. "Christine and I have done a bunch of different programs together. She’s so fun, so hard, so talented. And we really mixed it up," Brooke shares. "We did 20-minute workouts, which I think is doable for anyone who utilized a lot of stuff at home. We did a chair workout, kind of like a bar class with a lot of core balance. And then, we did our first ever cardio dance party, which was really messy and fun." It’s clear that Brooke’s passion for fitness fuels her daily life and keeps her energized.
Home Sweet Home
When it comes to their living arrangements post-wedding, Brooke says, "I love my house. My kids love this house, and Scott, you know, we have kids in different schools, and so, we’re navigating that right now and trying to figure out, and there’s a lot of us." Living in a stunning California home, Brooke and Scott are taking it one day at a time, balancing their busy lives and large family. "Right now, we’re back and forth. So, it’s working," Brooke adds with a smile.
