Meanwhile, George has a son, George Jr., 23, from another relationship. "The truth is, after all these years, we're like one big family," Alana says with pride.
These days, George and Alana talk on the phone almost every day, visit each other's homes regularly, and enjoy dinners together frequently—though Alana does most of the driving now.
