Bryant met his first wife, June Baranco, back in 1973 through a mutual friend who happened to be dating Bryant's brother, Greg Gumbel. The couple tied the knot and welcomed their first child, Bradley, on New Year’s Day in 1979. Their daughter, Jillian, followed four years later in 1983. From the start, Bradley seemed destined for a bright future. He attended Lynn University before transferring to Manhattanville College, where he laid the foundation for his career. In the early 2000s, Bradley worked as an events planner, organizing some of the most memorable occasions in New York City. Over the years, Bradley has also made appearances alongside his famous father at various high-profile events, including those hosted by UNICEF.
Bryant often spoke fondly of his role as a father, emphasizing the importance of being present for his kids despite his demanding career. In an interview with the Tampa Bay Times in 1990, Bryant shared, “It’s true that Daddy’s known, but there’s never been a day when Daddy wasn’t on TV — so Brad and Jillian are used to it.
