During a promotional interview on Today on October 10, the two powerhouse actors were asked if it was awkward filming a romantic scene together. George, with that signature Clooney charm, joked that it got tricky when his family visited the set. Julia, who's as sharp-witted as ever, agreed, especially since George shares twins Alexander and Ella with his human rights activist wife.
“The first day they came by to visit was a doozy,” Julia recalled, laughing. “It was like, ‘Papa, oh, Auntie Juju.’ And then we were all like, ‘Get them out of here!’” she exclaimed, mimicking the urgency of the moment. George added, “It’s really bad. My kids were asking, ‘What are you doing, Papa? What is that?’”
