Let me tell you something, folks. Hollywood icons Julia Roberts and George Clooney have been making memories together for years now, and their latest film, Ticket to Paradise, has given them yet another unforgettable moment. This time, it involved George’s wife, Amal Clooney, and their kids catching the couple in a compromising position. Imagine that for a second!
George and Julia Share a Laughable Moment
During a promotional interview on Today on October 10, the two powerhouse actors were asked if it was awkward filming a romantic scene together. George, with that signature Clooney charm, joked that it got tricky when his family visited the set. Julia, who's as sharp-witted as ever, agreed, especially since George shares twins Alexander and Ella with his human rights activist wife.
“The first day they came by to visit was a doozy,” Julia recalled, laughing. “It was like, ‘Papa, oh, Auntie Juju.’ And then we were all like, ‘Get them out of here!’” she exclaimed, mimicking the urgency of the moment. George added, “It’s really bad. My kids were asking, ‘What are you doing, Papa? What is that?’”

Julia and George: A Friendship That Stands the Test of Time
Julia, who has been married to Danny Moder since 2002 and is mom to three children, Hazel, Phinnaeus, and Henry, said that kissing George felt like “kissing your best friend.” She joked that George can’t live without her on-screen, teasing the possibility of more collaborations in the future. Their friendship has been a long-standing one, with the pair working together on films like Ocean’s Eleven, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Ocean’s Twelve, and Money Monster.
A Scene That Took Some Doing
George revealed in a September 2022 interview with the New York Times that he told his wife the kiss scene took 80 takes, which naturally puzzled her. Julia clarified, “It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing.”
And if you think fans are confused by their on-screen chemistry, you’re not alone. Many believe the two have been married in real life. “We have a friendship that people are aware of, and we’re going into it as this divorced couple,” Julia explained. “Half of America probably thinks we are divorced, so we have that going for us.”
