Early in the morning, Mina and her family arrived at the airport, only to be hit with a series of flight cancellations and delays that threw their entire itinerary into chaos.
“So yesterday at 7:45 a.m., our flight was COMPLETELY canceled by @americanair with NO options that got us in earlier than 10 p.m. today,” Mina shared in her Instagram Stories. The cruise they had booked required a 3 p.m. check-in on Monday, making it impossible for them to arrive on time. Even after booking a much pricier alternative flight, the delays continued, leaving the family with no choice but to wave goodbye to their dream vacation.

A few hours later, Mina updated her followers on the situation. “OK. So… no cruise. Secured a rental car once we get to Charleston,” she wrote. Despite the setback, Mina remained pragmatic, acknowledging that while her family could afford alternative arrangements, many others might not be as fortunate. “While we are 100 percent not rich, we can afford a rental car and find a hotel. But what about people who can’t?” she questioned, highlighting the struggles faced by countless travelers in similar situations.

Adding another layer to this emotional week, Mina recently discussed her complicated relationship with her mother, Karen E. Laine, and her brothers on her “Mina AF” podcast. The Indianapolis-based realtor admitted that while she and her Good Bones co-stars manage to coexist, their interactions are often strained. “We all put our big kid pants on and pretend to be nice… then go back to our corners of the universe and talk s–t about each other,” Mina revealed. Her candid admission painted a picture of a family navigating complex dynamics, where engagement is minimal and past conflicts linger.
