When it comes to decorating a nursery, Property Brothers star Drew Scott didn’t just stop at paint colors and cute furniture. For his son Parker, Drew went all out, creating a space that’s not only stylish but also full of adventure and love. On August 20, the proud dad gave fans a sneak peek into Parker’s room, showcasing a truly unique piece of furniture.
In a heartwarming Instagram post, Drew shared a photo of his wife, Linda Phan, lounging on a U-shaped chair in the center of their son’s nursery. The caption, “Date nights lately,” adds a playful touch to the image. But there’s more to this chair than meets the eye. In the background, you can see Parker’s charming wardrobe and a delightful array of colorful toys. It’s clear that Drew and Linda put a lot of thought into creating a space that’s both functional and fun for their little one.
A Playful Jungle Gym in the Nursery
The U-shaped chair that Linda is sitting on is part of a mini jungle gym that Drew and Linda installed for Parker. This isn’t just any ordinary piece of furniture—it’s designed to come apart and be reassembled easily. This means that Parker can play and climb around the room whenever his little heart desires. It’s a perfect blend of fun and safety, ensuring that the nursery is a place where creativity and imagination can thrive.

Drew and Linda welcomed Parker into their lives in May 2022. As they prepared for their first child together, they wanted to make sure his room was special. They envisioned a space that would reflect their love for nature and adventure. “We wanted to create a place filled with whimsy, adventure, and love,” Drew explained in October 2022. “The theme of nature kept coming to us. We want to instill in Parker the passion for the natural world that we have.”

A Family Heirloom Restored
Drew also revealed a sweet personal touch he added to the nursery: the same cradle he and his brothers, Jonathan and J.D. Scott, used as babies. Wrapped in a blue tarp for four decades, it spent most of its life sitting in their family barn. “It was in rough shape,” Drew admitted. But with the help of their construction lead, Anthony, they were able to restore it to its former glory. Drew shared the story behind the cradle in a video, asking Linda, “Can you imagine that Jonathan and I were both in it together at the same time?”
“I have pictures of me and Jonathan as babies in this,” Drew added. “I think it would be really cool to get our baby in that and send it to Mom and Dad.” It’s a beautiful way to connect the past with the present, creating a tangible link between generations.
The Joy of Parenthood
Since becoming parents to Parker, Drew and Linda have been open about the challenges of adjusting to their new routines. Sleep deprivation is a reality, but they wouldn’t trade parenthood for anything. “We’re still catching up on sleep whenever we can,” Drew admitted. “But every moment we spend with Parker is the best moment of our lives.”

“We’re tired, happy parents,” he concluded with a smile. It’s clear that despite the challenges, the joy of raising Parker outweighs everything else. For Drew and Linda, parenthood is an adventure worth every sleepless night.
