Now, here's an exciting twist. In April 2023, Dave and Jenny teamed up with none other than Erin and Ben Napier to co-host season 2 of Home Town Takeover in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Although the opportunity to collaborate with such talented friends was thrilling, it wasn't without its challenges. Being away from their five children—Nathan, Ben, Sylvie, Charlotte, and Luke—for eight weeks was tough on the couple. But as Jenny shared with Closer in February 2023, the experience was incredibly rewarding. "It was really, really, really challenging and hard," she admitted. "But it was also very fulfilling. We saw people’s lives being changed, and we got to be a small part of that. It was really lovely and a really unique experience for us that we really enjoyed."

And guess what? The Marrs' adventures didn't stop there. They also took their talents to Italy in the spinoff series Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano. Jenny couldn't contain her excitement as she revealed, "We’re renovating a home for some friends of ours that live somewhere else. Our family and their family are very close, and we’ve known them for many, many, many years. It’s going to be a really fun, creatively challenging experience."
Where Do Dave and Jenny Marrs Call Home?
Let me tell you about Dave and Jenny's personal life. Dave hails from Kiowa, Colorado, while Jenny grew up in sunny Orlando, Florida. But Bentonville has been their home since 2004, and it's where they've raised their family. Over the years, they've lived in five different houses in the town, each with its own charm. However, their current farmhouse is truly one of a kind. Built in 1903, this historic gem was originally located on the other side of town before Dave and Jenny decided to relocate it.
In her book, House + Love = Home, Jenny shares the incredible story behind their farmhouse. "Our farmhouse was originally located in our town’s historic area, near our picturesque downtown square," she writes. "When Dave learned it was set to be demolished, he came up with a plan to save it. He hired a house-moving company, and we prepared to physically pick up the house and move it across town to a little plot of land. Eventually, the house would be settled on a hill overlooking a pond, with pastures and farms as far as the eye can see."
Family is a big part of the Marrs' life. Jenny's family, including her parents and sister Angie, live nearby, creating a close-knit community. "To have my family close by has been the sweetest, most unexpected gift," Jenny writes. It's this sense of connection and community that adds another layer of warmth to their already heartwarming story.
