The first photo was a real head-turner—it showed Ben, 40 years young, shirtless and bending over a sprinkler, letting the water splash all over his face. At first glance, it looked like he might’ve forgotten his pants, but a closer look revealed he was wearing tan-colored shorts or swim trunks. Phew!
And you know what? Fans were quick to point out their initial shock in the comments. One user joked, “I wasn’t expecting a naked Ben in my feed! Just a few days before this playful post, Erin took a moment to address some of the critics leaving rude comments on her Instagram. In a video posted on April 2, she said, “The comments on my Instagram have been really, not nice, really rude, some of you guys.” She reminded everyone that they design houses for real people who actually live in them—and read those comments. She added, “You’re not hurting my feelings at all. But you are being really ugly to the people who are living in these houses.”
Ben chimed in too, saying, “But here’s the thing. I’m afraid that a lot of people out there are being rude and being mean because they want to be hurtful. And that’s the saddest thing about social media.” Words to live by, right?
