The couple has just announced the arrival of their second child, a baby girl. This joyful news comes after a journey filled with challenges and triumphs that have shaped their path to parenthood.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram on January 9, Ronda, now 37, celebrated the birth of her newborn. “Our little girl came into this world during a windstorm into a city on fire, so grateful she made it safe and sound,” she wrote, accompanied by a heartwarming carousel of video clips and photos. The imagery paints a vivid picture of the couple’s gratitude and joy amid life’s unpredictability.
Meet Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne
The couple named their new baby girl Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne, a name steeped in cultural significance that honors Travis’ Hawaiian heritage. Travis, originally named Travis Kuualiialoha Browne, was born with Hawaiian roots, and this beautiful name reflects the couple’s commitment to preserving and celebrating that legacy. Alongside her older sister, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo Browne, born in September 2021, Liko’ula is now part of a loving family that values tradition and connection.

In the video shared on Instagram, Ronda cradles her newborn daughter while her 3-year-old daughter La’akea looks on with curiosity. The former MMA fighter appears healthy and radiant, sitting comfortably in a hospital bed dressed casually in a green hoodie and dark lounge pants. Her hair is pulled back in a messy bun, and she’s wearing glasses, giving the scene an authentic, relatable vibe. La’akea’s fascination with her new sibling is evident as she eagerly asks Ronda to pull back Liko’ula’s swaddling blanket for a closer look.
A Journey Filled with Trials and Triumphs
Ronda and Travis’ path to parenthood hasn’t been without its challenges. During an episode of the podcast “The Diary of a CEO” in April 2024, Ronda opened up about her previous experiences with pregnancy losses. She had previously discussed these struggles in her book Our Fight, where she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage just a day after filming scenes for the TV show 9-1-1. Podcast host Steven Bartlett asked Ronda about her experiences after sharing that he and his partner were also trying to start a family.
Ronda recounted her journey, explaining that she found out she was pregnant just before filming began on a show. Despite a minor injury—her finger being injured by a door—she pushed through, but tragically, she miscarried a few weeks later. “I felt like it was my fault because I wanted to keep doing dangerous stuff while I was pregnant,” she admitted. Following the loss, Ronda fell into a deep depression, turning to unhealthy habits like drinking and smoking. Despite this, she became pregnant again, though this time, they never even saw the heartbeat.
After these losses, Ronda and Travis turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF), completing four rounds in hopes of expanding their family. The doctors retrieved eight embryos, aiming for three or four children. Thankfully, the first IVF cycle was successful, leading to the birth of their first daughter, La’akea. However, before appearing on Steven’s podcast, Ronda shared that a recent IVF cycle hadn’t worked, highlighting the emotional rollercoaster of trying to grow their family.
“It’s tough for anyone going through it,” Ronda said, her voice breaking with emotion. “It’s tough, and people just don’t talk about it. It’s hard because you have so much hope every time.” Her honesty and vulnerability offer a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength it takes to navigate the complexities of family-building.
