Let's be honest here—Tom Brady is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve, and right now, that heart is missing someone very special. His 12-year-old son, Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, has been spending time at his grandmother’s house during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. At 42 years old, Tom hasn’t been able to physically see his boy, but that doesn’t mean he’s stopped thinking about him. In fact, the legendary football star took to his Instagram Stories to share a touching moment with his followers—a video chat with Jack.
In a post shared on March 31, Tom let his emotions shine through with just three simple words: "Missing my boy," accompanied by two heart-eyed emojis. That’s all it took to show how deeply he feels the absence of his son. The picture itself speaks volumes. In it, we see the devoted dad smiling warmly at his son, while Jack gazes back into the camera, creating a moment of pure connection despite the distance.

Jack’s Arrival: A Life-Changing Moment for Tom Brady
In August of 2007, Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan welcomed their bundle of joy into the world. Jack, now a vibrant 12-year-old, has been a constant source of love and light in Tom’s life. When Jack hit the milestone of his 12th birthday, both Tom and his current wife, Gisele Bündchen, couldn’t help but express their adoration on social media. Tom’s post was nothing short of heartfelt, as he wrote, “12 years ago, you blessed our lives with your love and light! I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful soul than you!” He continued, “Happy Birthday Jackie! Your family loves you so much!”

Gisele, ever the doting stepmother, echoed Tom’s sentiments, adding, “Happy birthday to the best big brother in the world! We love you so much Jackie.” It’s clear that Jack holds a special place in the hearts of both his parents and his stepmom.
A Family of Four: Tom’s Journey as a Father
While Jack remains a central figure in Tom’s life, the football star is also the proud father of two younger children, Benjamin, 10, and Vivian, 7, whom he shares with Gisele. Interestingly, Tom has often remarked that he shares the most common ground with Jack, which makes it all the more poignant when he reflects on the differences between his sons. When Benjamin didn’t follow in his father’s athletic footsteps, Tom initially found it challenging to understand his younger son’s interests.
“When Benny came along, I thought he would be just like Jack,” Tom admitted to Men’s Health. “So I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.’ And he was like, ‘Nope.’ And I was like, ‘What? No, do this!’” It wasn’t until Gisele intervened that Tom began to see things from a different perspective. “Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you effing understand that your son is different?’ It was hard for me,” Tom confessed. “I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a boy; he should just do all these things that I do.’ … The reality is that Benny just likes different things. And it’s great because now I just have to go do what he wants to do. When we do that, we have the best time.”
Tom went on to share how embracing Benjamin’s unique interests has led to some of their most cherished moments. “He’s like, ‘OMG, Dad, you’re so funny.’ He loves joking, and I joke back,” he said. “It’s all about finding common ground and appreciating each child for who they are.”
