A Heartwarming Tale of Love and Family
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has always been known for keeping her personal life private, but it's no secret that she's found joy and fulfillment as a wife and mother. Her journey with husband Brian Hallisay is one that many fans admire, and it's easy to see why. Their story is filled with love, support, and an undeniable connection that has only grown stronger over time.
From Co-Stars to Soulmates
It all began in 2011 when Jennifer and Brian met on the set of NBC's pilot Love Bites. At first, they were just co-stars, but their paths crossed again in March 2012 on the set of The Client List. Despite playing exes on-screen, they quickly realized they had something special off-screen too. Love, as they say, works in mysterious ways.
Fast forward a few months, and it was clear that their relationship was blossoming. A close friend of Jennifer's told In Touch Weekly, “She’s absolutely smitten! I wouldn’t be surprised if they settle down soon.” And settle down they did, but not before life threw them a curveball. When Jennifer lost her beloved mother in June 2012, Brian was there for her every step of the way, proving just how strong their bond truly was.

“They have a solid and healthy relationship,” the friend added. “Brian has been incredibly supportive of Jennifer, especially during such a difficult time. They’re perfect for each other.”

A Family in the Making
As fans watched Jennifer and Brian's chemistry on the hit Lifetime drama The Client List, their relationship continued to flourish off-screen. By June 2013, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. In a joint statement to Us Weekly, they expressed their excitement: “We’re so thrilled and happy to start a family.”
Just a day after revealing her pregnancy, Jennifer's rep confirmed the happy news that the couple was also engaged. “Yes,” the spokesperson told People, “they are engaged.”
By November 2013, Jennifer and Brian were officially married, and shortly after, they welcomed their first child, daughter Autumn James Hallisay. Two years later, in June 2015, son Atticus James Hallisay joined the family, completing their beautiful brood.
Work and Family: A Perfect Balance

For years, Jennifer and Brian dedicated much of their time to raising their children. However, in 2019, they decided to work together again on the hit TV show 9-1-1. Jennifer opened up about this experience at an event, saying, “It was just lovely to be able to go to work together, for our kids to be able to see us go to work together… and it was fun to see him love [playing that part] so much and really have fun.”
