Harry and Meghan's Exciting Holiday Plans
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not be joining the royal family in the U.K. this Christmas, but they're still in high spirits about their holiday plans. In a heartwarming exclusive, an insider tells Closer Weekly that the couple is "incredibly excited" to celebrate the season with their 17-month-old son, Archie. They’re eager to get their little one involved in their family traditions, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives together.
Meghan, who has always been a fan of the festive season, is particularly thrilled. "Christmas is Meghan's favorite holiday, and she's counting down the days to immerse herself in the festive vibes," the source shares. "The couple plans to buy a massive Christmas tree for their new home and decorate it as a family. This year, Archie will even get to pick out a couple of ornaments to place on the tree himself!"

Archie's First Big Christmas
Archie, still just a toddler, is at the perfect age to start understanding the magic of Christmas. "He's at a stage where he can grasp some of the concepts behind the traditions they're teaching him," the insider reveals. Meghan has already picked out a special Christmas children's book for Archie. To keep things fun, the couple plans to leave a glass of wine for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, adding a personal touch to their celebrations.

The Sussexes are also tweaking their gift-giving tradition. Instead of following the royal family's custom of exchanging gifts on December 24, they'll open their presents on Christmas Day morning as a family. They're even planning to hang stockings by the fireplace in their cozy living room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the holiday.
A Festive Feast in Santa Barbara
With their new home in Santa Barbara offering plenty of freedom and space, Harry and Meghan are making the most of it. "Meghan will showcase her culinary talents by cooking a delicious feast in their fully equipped kitchen," the insider shares. The couple is thrilled to host their first Christmas in the U.S., with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, expected to join them for the festivities.
